Strategy I am using: Year End Recap
At the end of each year I have found that it is incredibly helpful to review the previous 12 months to look for bright spots and challenges.  The idea being that if you can duplicate what is working and eliminate the things that aren’t, each successive year should get better and better.  I recommend going back through the photos on your phone, looking through your Google calendar or taking a look through your journal in order to be reminded of your behaviors and thoughts.  Make a list of things you want to include and things you want to exclude in the next year.  The more specific, the better.  I have found that life will continuously throw you the same problems until you decide to become more deliberate about how you spend your time.  This one step, done correctly, can massively transform your 2021!

Exercise equipment I am wearing: Winter Running and Cycling Gloves
If you are like me and enjoy working out in the morning you have certainly noticed a massive drop in the temperature.  To combat the extreme numbness and stiffness I have been experiencing on my runs and bike rides lately I purchased from Amazon these thin but warm gloves.  I like this pair due to their price ($17), the extra grip in the fingertips and palm as well as the fact you can use your cell phone with them on.  So far, they have made a huge difference in my comfort and for that I am grateful!

Quote I am repeating: Years end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom experience can instill in us.  Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.  ~ Oprah Winfrey
It is easy to place enormous emphasis on the end of the calendar year 2020.  However, let’s remember that in the grand scheme of things Jan 1, 2021 will be just another day.  Another chance to do things better.  A chance to be more committed to our healthy habits, be more kind to our loved ones and strangers.  And another opportunity to be the kind of person we will be proud of.  I look forward to striving forward with you next year!

Have a kick ass week everyone!
